4. Fundamental Dimensions Series

Dimensions are what I would consider your first “tool” in your tool box. Think of “tools” in the same way a painter or sculpture has tools. These aren’t tools for fixing or solving issues, but rather creating and building art. Dimensions are something that I was introduced to at a young age when learning other dancer’s choreography. It never crossed my mind to use these elements as tools in my freestyle/improvisation within my house dance. It wasn’t until I found my self speeding through my movements while dancing that I realized I had no sort of dance patience. Dimensions were the tools needed to add patience, directions and basic dynamics in my dance. In this course we explore a few fundamental dimensions I think are good to start with.
